Car Rental Center Facility Building Improvements

SP Arch Inc. provided a conditions assessment as part of the Maryland Aviation Administration’s (MAA) five years assessment plan. We assisted the MAA project manager in determining the urgent needs to be addressed at the Car Rental Center Facility (CRCF).  Our report illustrated areas of deterioration, a failing slab, rusting steel and leaking skylights. The levels of urgency were categorized and recommendations were made for repair or replacement. A cost estimate for each recommendation to assist in prioritizing the items to be corrected. SP Arch worked with the BWI project manager to determine the scope of work for repairs and ADA upgrades. SP Arch provided design and construction documentation for correction of areas identified as critical or urgent.
